Artist demonstration workshop with Elizabeth Priddy - artwork image by Elizabeth Priddy

Artist Demonstration Workshop:

On Tuesday, December 9 from 6:00-8:30 p.m., Elizabeth Priddy will hold an open presentation and hands on class demonstrating her brush and line artwork at the library. Bring your brushes and enjoy getting a chance to try this delightful and beautiful watercolor art form. We will paint small bookmarks as seen in the display case in December. An introductory video is available online at www.ElizabethPriddy.com.

In December, Carteret County Public Library will exhibit the art of Elizabeth Priddy. Elizabeth works in clay and on rice paper, creating beautiful and funny images through brush painting and line illustration. Priddy Studio is on Hwy 101 just outside of Beaufort and is a working and teaching studio open by appointment. The display case will feature the lively and colorful mixed media work of John Logan Priddy, made in collaboration with Elizabeth Priddy.

Family Fun: On Saturday, December 20 bring the whole family to our “Who-liday” event featuring “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”. This program is sure to grow your heart 3 sizes! The program will run from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
