Shop for a fantastic assortment of books at low, low prices! The Friends of
Carteret County Public Library have opened up the popular red book wagon
again for the season, April through November. Located by First Citizens
Bank at the corner of Turner and Front Street, the book wagon is open on
Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on
Monday holidays.
The Library is always seeking quality
book donations to either add into the collection or use for the book sale.

Friends of the Carteret County Public
Library support the Library with tax-deductible contributions for items not
covered by the budget, such as audio books, summer reading programs, and
adult education programs. Right now, the Friends have an ongoing Capital
Campaign to “fit out” the new library. All monetary donations to for the
new library are welcome. Adult memberships start at $10, patron memberships
at $25, and lifetime memberships at $200. If you would like to become a
Friend of Carteret County Public Library, contact Allison Dubuisson at
504-3555 and/or pick up a membership form located at the library.
