The Down East Public Library is now a branch of Carteret County Public
Library. Books and audiovisual materials may be returned at this location.

However, until the library becomes fully automated with the OCLC Web-scale
Management Services, patrons cannot request materials of other libraries to
and from that location. |

The library has weekly Preschool Storytimes held in the Resource Center next
door every Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. with Ms. Sue and Ms. Karen. For more
