In August, the Art Gallery of the Bogue Banks Public Library in Pine Knoll Shores will feature fine art by a select group of Pine Knoll Shores artists.  These local artists work in a diverse range of media and styles depicting beach and coastal scenes as well as florals, children, animals and abstracts.  Pine Knoll Shores creativity will also be on display in the showcases where the wood carving of 3 residents will be exhibited.  Each crafter has an individual style and subject matters include seabirds, waterfowl, nautical objects and whimsical figures.

     In August, the art of Jenifer Crowell and Steve Thiele will be displayed.  Steve Thiele enjoys creating from wood, fiberglass and recycled materials...from houses, boats, fences, birdhouses, bike vanes, guitars and much more!  Jenifer Crowell is a self-taught artist. She began her journey into painting in the early ‘90s, after leaving a family business of 3-dimensional advertising.

    In August, Christa Pautz and Norma Haden will display their artwork.  Pautz has been living in Morehead City for over 30 years, moving from the Chicago area. She has loved the water all of her life, which is why the coast of North Carolina seemed like the perfect place to live, with beautiful beaches, perfect climate, and wonderful people.
