WINNING NAMES ANNOUNCED:

Friends of Carteret County Public Library (Beaufort) choose the winning names and sponsored the Contest. The wooden prams were built by NC Maritime Museum volunteers and are in the children’s area of the library.

Entry suggestions were:
Connect reading and boats
Reflect the culture of our area
Uniqueness

Participants were between 5—14 years old. Winners were announced on July 31 at the Summer Celebration.
