Auditorium/Community Room Use Policies
►NOVEMBER 2007: Due to the increase in and success of programming for children and young adults at the Carteret County Public Library there is a great need for more office workspace for the employees operating these departments. The Library Board of Trustees has approved setting up two workspaces in the auditorium. However, this action makes the room no longer suitable for use by the community as a public meeting space. Library sponsored programs, including the AARP tax assistance program, will continue, but the room is no longer available for public use (e.g. meetings, tutors, private viewing of videos or TV programs, study hall, etc.).
