Internet Service: All of the libraries in the CPC Regional Library system offer Internet use free of charge. Users must sign in before going on the Internet. Children ages 17 to 13 must have a library card with Internet sticker to use the Internet. Children ages 12 and under must have a library card with Internet sticker and a parent or guardian present to use the Internet. To view the Computer and Internet Use Agreement, click here. Wireless Internet Service: Many library locations now offer free wireless connection to the Internet. See the Carteret County Public Library flyer on Wireless access at the library: wireless flyer.
Fax Service: Faxing costs $1.00 per page sending or receiving. Payment for received pages is due before being handed over.
Copier Service: Making copies on the library's photocopier costs $.15 per page ($.30 per page for 11" X 17)." Copies are in black and white only. Paper sizes are 8½" X 11," and 8½" X 14" (legal), and 11" X 17."
Other equipment for public use: Video Magnifier: The Carteret County Public Library in Beaufort has an Aladdin Video Magnifier (designed for use by people who have visual impairments which make it difficult or impossible for them to read ordinary printed materials) for public use.
Digital Microform Scanner: The Carteret County Public Library in Beaufort has a Digital Microform Scanner which allows patrons to scan an image from microfilm or microfiche to a computer for saving or emailing.
