Upcoming Schedule MAY THEME: SPRINGTIME FUN Tuesday, May 1 Secret Agent Training Master the art of disguise, brave a fierce obstacle course, and learn other techniques every secret agent must know! Tuesday, May 8 Super Villain Picture Day Because even villains have to get their picture taken! Tuesday, May 15 & 22 Hot Air Balloons Help decorate the library this summer! This program will span a two-week period, and participants should come both weeks. We'll be making two-dimensional hot air balloons to put up on the wall in the children's area over the summer. At the end of the summer, you're welcome to take your hot air balloon home for keeps! Tuesday, May 29 School's (Almost) Out Party Come celebrate the end of spring and the beginning of summer with an afternoon of food, fun, and games! AND IN JUNE... THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM ARRIVES! (Theme: Dream Big - READ!)

About the Program

BOOKENDS is a book activity program for readers and non-readers alike. The program strives to encourage non-readers to pick up the book while giving readers a new way to experience their favorite series.

We'll choose a fiction or non-fiction book for the month that we'll then use as the theme for that months BOOKENDS's programs! Check the schedule for upcoming BOOKENDS programs as they may not appeal to all age groups. Feel free to call the library and ask for Anna or Melissa if you'd like more information.
