About the Program

In March of 2009, Best Buy of Morehead City donated a Wii to the Western Carteret Public Library.  Since then, we've acquired a handful of popular games for our Wii.  We rotate the games so a different one is featured each week for open gaming.  We also have several board games available for kids to play and encourage kids to bring their portable gaming devices to play with other kids.

In addition, we occasionally have video game tournaments, which allow kids to play against their peers to win prizes.

We currently have the following games:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Mario Kart Wii

Rockband

Wii Sports

Mario Party 8

Star Wars: Light Saber Duels
