About the Program
Z-Factor Productions is a low-commitment, movie making program for
teens. Teens come up with original ideas which are then scripted and
filmed over a period of several weeks. All ideas are given the same
amount of attention. The program also allows teens to meet new people
and learn how to work together as a small group.
Teens may either come regularly or when they can. Z-Factor Productions
is split into a "Fall Term" and a "Spring Term". The last day to
register for the "Fall Term" of Z-Factors is September 29. Please talk
to Melissa or check back in January if you are interested in joining
Z-Factors after this date.
Because teens will be using expensive equipment to film their movies, and because Z-Factor Productions has a YouTube channel
which material is uploaded to, all members of Z-Factor Productions and their
respective parent or guardian will be required to sign an agreement form
before regularly attending the class.
WCPL also offers more serious filmmaking classes for interested teens.
Please contact Melissa for more information regarding these classes.
